Self Knowledge

[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]In this powerful and soulful conversation with Anaiya Sophia (it's her birthday today!!!!), we explore the concept of being boundless, of taking full ownership of all that we are. But in order to do that, we have to be willing to be seen, heard and witnessed, by people who can offer a reflection that informs us of our true essence. Each of us come bearing gifts and our work here is to share those gifts in all their varying forms. Grab a drink and come sit in a wisdom circle with us. This conversation is part of a series to introduce the Goddess Woman Immersion happening on the 1st of January. As women our womb space and bellies hold a lot of power because this is the place from which we create, birth things into the world and relate to the world around us. Yet it can be an area where we hold blocks and rigid boundaries. This conversation with the gorgeous Love Coach Cate Mackenzie shows how tapping into the inner child through play, sensuality and sweet honey allows us to create with joy, fun, happiness, and bliss, it makes our creations luscious and a gift both to ourselves and the world around us. This conversation is part of a series to introduce the 8-week online Goddess Woman Immersion starting on the 1st of January. To find out more the link is

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]If no one witnesses it, including yourself, did it happen? I was listening to a hypnotherapist say that there are three things eroding humanities self esteem - First thing: I’m not good enough | Second Thing: I mustn’t stand out | Third thing: Making mistakes is a really bad thing. We live our lives running a program dictated by these three things. Yet if we’re not aware or conscious of them they go onto automatic. It plays out where I don’t speak up cause I feel I’ve nothing to say. I don’t step forward because that exposes me. I don’t take the leap because if it goes wrong everyone will see and judge me. My work is all about empowering people to move past their boundaries. But you have to witness your boundary first, accept it then release it to step forward. If you feel ready for this and want some support my hand is raised and I’m here to help[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Anyone that knows me knows that I love love love to dance, especially to beats that are soulful, with drums, guitars and funky backbeat, that's like a spark plug to me. In this conversation, I speak to the wonderful Vital Danza Facilitator Helen Thatcher about why dance is so amazing in allowing us to connect with ourselves, each other and the flow of our own individual rhythms. We also speak about how dance opens a dialogue for us to create intimacy, closeness, and community. This conversation is part of a series that introduces the Goddess Within Immersion which is launching on the 1st of January.

In this session we focus on the archetype of the Medicine Woman, I speak to Lysa Black a heart healer and intuitive guide about what makes the heart so powerful, why we need the heart's intelligence to heal, how the heart acts as a gateway and amplifier of who we are and so much more. Insight comes to me in flashes. With the flash comes recognition and then a flow of wisdom. I have always been really aware of the ancestral line on my mothers side, my mother is a huge character and my dearest friend, my grandmother was a really strong presence, my great-grandmother I knew little about, but was aware of her absence being a source of strength for my grandmother, and my great-great-grandmother, I knew about because she brought my grandmother up. These women have been responsible for me stepping onto a path of the intuitive oracle, the healer, the wise woman, the teacher and the spiritual guide. They showed me a path that was never going to be either traditional or conventional, a path that took a lot of strength to claim and walk. They gave me a life blueprint to own and then evolve. Evolving as a woman means claiming the Goddess Within and raising your frequency to meet her. I've created a gift to help you raise your frequency and your game. It introduces you to seven superpowers that lay within you waiting for you to take full ownership of them. Go to this link below to get it and I'll see you over there

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]This conversation with Tara Love Perry is all about the words we speak and how they are responsible for forming and manifesting the world we live in. Until we become conscious of both our internal and external dialogue we can't really evolve, because words are like commands that put structures around what we're able to see, to be and to reach for. To face myself with all my flaws, my shadows and my mistakes and accept it all, embrace it all and love it all. I’ve learned that this is what freedom really is, this is what authenticity really is, to have all my cards on the table with no shame, with no excuses and with just a sense of is-ness. I’m not the same person I was five years ago, six months ago or even last week, there is a constant sense of evolution of owning more of who I am, of loving myself more so that I can really love the person next to me more. Releasing what isn’t true to live my truth, this is freedom to me.

The crux of my work as an Alchemist is embodying Divinity so that it is infused in your actions, it radiates through your body and it moves from you into the world creating expansion, transformation and high vibrational experiences in your life and in the lives of the people you interact with.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="35px"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

You are primarily a sensory being. You feel the energy that exists around you as emotions and sensations within your body that your mind then scrambles to find a logical explanation for.

When we feel things in our body that we don't have a direct explanation for in our immediate environment, our egos get alerted. We then start to look through the archives of our experiences for when we felt a similar sort of thing, the time when our dad said this thing or our teacher at school said that thing, or we felt rejected by this person we loved, or misunderstood by that person. We use these past memories to explain the energetic frequency pulsing through us.

Once we've located a possible trigger we start to look for how this is true in our current lives, who or what has been the instigator of this uncomfortable, weird, painful sensation. As if by magic the world answers us with a more current experience, suddenly out of the blue our parent says something, or our boss says something, or we get misheard or misunderstood and suddenly we are catapulted back to the past. The wound feels fresh and present. We begin to wonder if we've grown at all, if anything's really changed, or after all the pep talks we've given ourselves and the sessions we have spent finding balance and alignment have we regressed right back to where we started?

The answer, of course, is no, regression has not occurred this is just your ego responding to energetic pulses and frequencies. This is your ego showing you that you've reached a boundary. This is your ego showing you where your room for expansion lies. This is your ego showing you where you need to release, to let go, to accept and to cease judgment.  This is where you are called to honor, love, embrace and offer thanks for what your ego is showing you. This is where you step forward and step up to a greater version of who you are.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

We live on a planet of 7 billion people. Yet so often what we consider to be available to us, who we consider ourselves capable of being and the things we assume we are able to do is narrowed down to the closest ten, five or two people around us. The narrower we become the less opportunity we have available.

To shift this we need to shift the cycle that moves our energy in a counterclockwise direction of getting smaller and more contracted, to a clockwise direction of expansion and space to breathe.

To shift the direction of the cycle we need to engage our awareness, we need to change our habitual patterns and repetitive loops. We need to challenge ourselves, to do things we haven’t done before, to speak to the people that seem scariest, to put ourselves in situations that seem alien at first. The more we do this we find that there is life outside the narrow window, that there are other towns, other countries, other planets and an entire universe.

When we can see that the sky is the limit it really is!

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

I studied acting for a while a long time ago, it was as a hobby rather than from a desire to be on film or plays. I wanted to understand the energy behind my actions and the things I could use to invoke the feelings and emotions needed to make my actions effective. I remember my teacher Irene Bradshaw who used to be a TV character actress critiquing an improvised piece I was doing, she told me that I started off really shaky and people sensed my lack of belief in myself which made them uncomfortable and made me uncomfortable, however, if I would take the time to breathe, to centre, to connect with my footing and connect to my body before I opened my mouth, it would make a huge difference to the proceedings.

So I redid the piece again taking all her advice into account. What felt like hard work to start off with now felt like it flowed. The areas where I felt doubtful of myself evaporated, I was more in my body, more in the moment and more connected to the collective energy of the room. I never forgot that message.

It can seem so simple yet it is so powerful, take time to breathe and feel your body, breathe into the tightness, the tensions, the stress until it unfolds, melts, releases and from a place of alert, switched on relaxation... Imagine the clipboard for a film and the director yelling... NOW ACTION!!!!!!.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

We live in a world that is full of choices. Out of the platter of experiences available, there are things that make me feel joyful, things that invite me to celebrate life, things that neutralize or flatten my energy, leaving me feeling sort of.... meh..... Things that feel like crap if I stick around them for too long and things I give a wide berth because they are like a sewage system disguised as a pothole, you step in and then have to use a whole load of your life force and energy in order to step back out.
I've learned to pay close attention to my energy. I pay attention to how I feel after hanging out with people, how I feel while I'm in different places, how I feel after eating food, how I feel emotionally, how I feel in my body and how I feel in my soul. Some things are out of my comfort zone, but they feel like a necessary course of action. Other things are outside of my comfort zone and the discomfort just serves to remind me that I need to honor myself more.
My advice is to make choices based on things that lift you up, delight you, excite you, challenge you to grow, make you smile, spark you, honor you and have healthy returns. In my experience, this is a delicious recipe for creating good vibes and a life you love.

Your Success Depends On Your Vibe

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1" animation="none" column_padding="padding-9-percent" column_padding_position="right" background_color_opacity="1"][vc_column_text]

If your vibration isn't aligned with what you are aiming for, you'll ultimately sabotage your success, that's a given. Your vibration, of course, is only a part of the full picture,  you still  have to engage with life in numerous ways for things to happen. But it's a hugely important link in the chain, when it comes to attaining your goals or desires, and holding on to them in the long run.

So what's a vibration? Every thought and opinion you have about something will ultimately lead to a mindset that creates your vibration. So for example if I was told from a very early age ‘follow your heart, it will never lead you astray!’, and if I bought into that totally, my mindset will be based very much on a constant check-in with what my heart is telling me. All my choices will be made from my heart. The way I approach my relationships will all be heart-based. If my heart said ‘No!’ to something I'd drop it instantly. This way of thinking will create a vibration around me that becomes my unspoken signature. Some people will see me as wearing my heart on my sleeve and being way too emotional, some will see me as being unpractical and way too hearty, others will see me as being authentic and true to myself. We greet the world with our vibration before we ever open our mouths to say anything. If I am not aware of myself vibrationally, all of these subtle interactions will be happening subconsciously.

If I was about to start a business and someone I loved became a mentor, let's say this person was more analytical and practical in their approach, (a case of opposites attract), they could convince me to deny my hearty ways and go for the more secure and safe route. I begin following a plan they devised for me, but my heart is saying ‘No!!!!’. Outwardly I give all the signs of being enthusiastic, but it doesn't feel right, it doesn't fit, it isn't ‘me’. At some point the dam will break. I'll find a way to decrease the discomfort and get things back to what feels most normal or natural to me. This means losing the source of the unsettlement, a loss which I'll deem a failure, as things begin to crumble.

This is one of the reasons why I love to work with people vibrationally before they go on to the ‘action phase’ in goal attainment? An exploration is done on whether they are vibrationally aligned to the thing that they think they want. For a lot of business owners for example success and money go hand in hand. But what are your views of money? Do you feel you deserve it? Are you like a tease that calls it closer only to push it away as it approaches? Getting the mindset right and your vibration in harmony is a big key to long-term success.

5 Books That Changed My Life Forever

[vc_row][vc_column width="5/6"][vc_empty_space height="45px"][vc_column_text]

My home library has been a great source of mental expansion for me. Books and the expressions of others on life, art, love and the human experience can be a huge inspiration. The elegant arrangement of words has a profound effect on our way of seeing and believing. A good book can go a long way in expanding our thoughts and our vision. This is what made me want to be a writer myself. I wanted to have the same immense and positive effect on the world around me,  created by some of my favourite authors.

5 Books That Changed My View of Life as I Knew it.

[divider line_type="No Line" custom_height=""]

The Celestine Prophecies Series - Robert Redfield.

I always knew somehow, that the human experience was magical. I mean, no one has fully explained how we got here and what our collective purpose is. However these books brought the idea of our magical existence to a whole different level. It opened up all the possibilities of 'what if.....?'

The Witch Of Portobello - Paulo Coelho

I often wondered what it would be like to have full freedom of expression. What would it be like if we all said exactly what we think and mean, without the boundaries of our fears and our filters. Here Paulo Coelho answered this question according to his view, by the life of one woman.

Outliers - Malcolm  Gladwell

Is there such a thing as a special person? Someone who surpasses human fallacies and rises above the 'normal' and mundane? Malcolm suggests not, what we do not see in every prodigy is the fact that behind the scenes 100,000 hours of work is being put in to achieve mastery. This book shows us that the success of others points us to our capacity rather than our lack.

Conversation with God Series - Neale Donald Walsch

What would happen if we asked our deepest, most confused and most frustrated questions to the part of ourselves that was all seeing and all knowing? What would the answers be? I was hopping up and down when I read the first book of the series. The  collective mind, which is called God by many, supports us in whatever our greatest desire is, as long as we are not conflicted in what we want the world is our oyster.

The Power of the Spoken Word - Florence Scovel Shinn

This Author I really admire, she wrote her books in the 1920's when subject of metaphysics was by no means popular. She self published her books when all the publishing houses of the time rejected her work. Long after her death in 1940 her books still remain profound, deeply wise and a huge resource for many. This one in particular gives us a view of how creative our words are, spoken either internally or externally they make the world we live in.
