Inspired Notes

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Raising our vibration and frequency takes conscious curation and cultivation. If left up to chance the woes of the world, the fears through the news, the manipulative forces through advertising, the gossip through the headlines, start to infiltrate and we wonder what's going on with our energy.  So I am going to use this space of communication with you to share my high vibe titbits.

On that note my High Vibe word of the day is PASSION... I sometimes wonder where we would be without it. It's passion that brings flair, excitement, uniqueness, boldness, beautifully resonant moments where everything feels vivid and alive. We are at our most soulful when we're at our most passionate.

It's passion that makes our hearts beat a little faster, our voices raise in appreciation, our gut tingle and our bodies glow.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Our power lies in being able to come into balance with them. [vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]If no one witnesses it, including yourself, did it happen? I was listening to a hypnotherapist say that there are three things eroding humanities self esteem - First thing: I’m not good enough | Second Thing: I mustn’t stand out | Third thing: Making mistakes is a really bad thing. We live our lives running a program dictated by these three things. Yet if we’re not aware or conscious of them they go onto automatic. It plays out where I don’t speak up cause I feel I’ve nothing to say. I don’t step forward because that exposes me. I don’t take the leap because if it goes wrong everyone will see and judge me. My work is all about empowering people to move past their boundaries. But you have to witness your boundary first, accept it then release it to step forward. If you feel ready for this and want some support my hand is raised and I’m here to help[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

Insight comes to me in flashes. With the flash comes recognition and then a flow of wisdom. I have always been really aware of the ancestral line on my mothers side, my mother is a huge character and my dearest friend, my grandmother was a really strong presence, my great-grandmother I knew little about, but was aware of her absence being a source of strength for my grandmother, and my great-great-grandmother, I knew about because she brought my grandmother up. These women have been responsible for me stepping onto a path of the intuitive oracle, the healer, the wise woman, the teacher and the spiritual guide. They showed me a path that was never going to be either traditional or conventional, a path that took a lot of strength to claim and walk. They gave me a life blueprint to own and then evolve. Evolving as a woman means claiming the Goddess Within and raising your frequency to meet her. I've created a gift to help you raise your frequency and your game. It introduces you to seven superpowers that lay within you waiting for you to take full ownership of them. Go to this link below to get it and I'll see you over there

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]If us humans are the superior species on the planet, how come our lifespan is so short relative to the earth that has been here for over 4 billion years according to science? ( I think that number is based on what we have the capacity to measure, rather than the actual number of years the earth has been in existence). Even a tree can last thousands of years. Somehow I think our ego is playing jokes on us, convincing us that because we can intellectualise we are the greatest thing to walk this earth...  What if the earth itself holds more intelligence forged from 4 billion plus years than we have in our short time here, what if she has stuff to teach us and is just waiting patiently for us to pull our heads out of our own asses, get quiet enough and receive?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

To face myself with all my flaws, my shadows and my mistakes and accept it all, embrace it all and love it all. I’ve learned that this is what freedom really is, this is what authenticity really is, to have all my cards on the table with no shame, with no excuses and with just a sense of is-ness. I’m not the same person I was five years ago, six months ago or even last week, there is a constant sense of evolution of owning more of who I am, of loving myself more so that I can really love the person next to me more. Releasing what isn’t true to live my truth, this is freedom to me.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

You are primarily a sensory being. You feel the energy that exists around you as emotions and sensations within your body that your mind then scrambles to find a logical explanation for.

When we feel things in our body that we don't have a direct explanation for in our immediate environment, our egos get alerted. We then start to look through the archives of our experiences for when we felt a similar sort of thing, the time when our dad said this thing or our teacher at school said that thing, or we felt rejected by this person we loved, or misunderstood by that person. We use these past memories to explain the energetic frequency pulsing through us.

Once we've located a possible trigger we start to look for how this is true in our current lives, who or what has been the instigator of this uncomfortable, weird, painful sensation. As if by magic the world answers us with a more current experience, suddenly out of the blue our parent says something, or our boss says something, or we get misheard or misunderstood and suddenly we are catapulted back to the past. The wound feels fresh and present. We begin to wonder if we've grown at all, if anything's really changed, or after all the pep talks we've given ourselves and the sessions we have spent finding balance and alignment have we regressed right back to where we started?

The answer, of course, is no, regression has not occurred this is just your ego responding to energetic pulses and frequencies. This is your ego showing you that you've reached a boundary. This is your ego showing you where your room for expansion lies. This is your ego showing you where you need to release, to let go, to accept and to cease judgment.  This is where you are called to honor, love, embrace and offer thanks for what your ego is showing you. This is where you step forward and step up to a greater version of who you are.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

We live on a planet of 7 billion people. Yet so often what we consider to be available to us, who we consider ourselves capable of being and the things we assume we are able to do is narrowed down to the closest ten, five or two people around us. The narrower we become the less opportunity we have available.

To shift this we need to shift the cycle that moves our energy in a counterclockwise direction of getting smaller and more contracted, to a clockwise direction of expansion and space to breathe.

To shift the direction of the cycle we need to engage our awareness, we need to change our habitual patterns and repetitive loops. We need to challenge ourselves, to do things we haven’t done before, to speak to the people that seem scariest, to put ourselves in situations that seem alien at first. The more we do this we find that there is life outside the narrow window, that there are other towns, other countries, other planets and an entire universe.

When we can see that the sky is the limit it really is!

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]I hold a circle every Wednesday at my home. It is a business mastermind that invites heart-based business owners to share a challenge they are having with their work so that it can be expanded energetically and strengthened in practical ways allowing for real change and juicy take always. I never know who will be in the circle from one week to the next. But each time my doorbell rings I know it brings another inspiring soul to sit and communicate with.

Last week was a combination of the wonderful Katy Tucker and this beautiful being Abi Flynn. (My mind is still blown by the energy we weaved together.)

Abi is a singer and writer who has also been on a journey with Cancer. On that particular Wednesday, the day of the circle, it was also her last day of Chemotherapy which can be hard on the physical system, yet she sat smiling, celebrating and radiating. Her aim is to be a positive pioneer to people in the same position.

She proceeded to inspire us with her journey of healing, of cultivating and weaving positively in the midst of a great challenge, of finding and connecting to the strength of the goddess within her, of focusing on transforming and transmuting the lives of others by her own transformation and transmutation.

Even as I write this I feel her inspiration. She reminded me to love the life I have and to create the life I love! A photo below shows Abi earlier on at the hospital hours before coming to the circle, humming with courage and hope.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

I studied acting for a while a long time ago, it was as a hobby rather than from a desire to be on film or plays. I wanted to understand the energy behind my actions and the things I could use to invoke the feelings and emotions needed to make my actions effective. I remember my teacher Irene Bradshaw who used to be a TV character actress critiquing an improvised piece I was doing, she told me that I started off really shaky and people sensed my lack of belief in myself which made them uncomfortable and made me uncomfortable, however, if I would take the time to breathe, to centre, to connect with my footing and connect to my body before I opened my mouth, it would make a huge difference to the proceedings.

So I redid the piece again taking all her advice into account. What felt like hard work to start off with now felt like it flowed. The areas where I felt doubtful of myself evaporated, I was more in my body, more in the moment and more connected to the collective energy of the room. I never forgot that message.

It can seem so simple yet it is so powerful, take time to breathe and feel your body, breathe into the tightness, the tensions, the stress until it unfolds, melts, releases and from a place of alert, switched on relaxation... Imagine the clipboard for a film and the director yelling... NOW ACTION!!!!!!.

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]

We live in a world that is full of choices. Out of the platter of experiences available, there are things that make me feel joyful, things that invite me to celebrate life, things that neutralize or flatten my energy, leaving me feeling sort of.... meh..... Things that feel like crap if I stick around them for too long and things I give a wide berth because they are like a sewage system disguised as a pothole, you step in and then have to use a whole load of your life force and energy in order to step back out.
I've learned to pay close attention to my energy. I pay attention to how I feel after hanging out with people, how I feel while I'm in different places, how I feel after eating food, how I feel emotionally, how I feel in my body and how I feel in my soul. Some things are out of my comfort zone, but they feel like a necessary course of action. Other things are outside of my comfort zone and the discomfort just serves to remind me that I need to honor myself more.
My advice is to make choices based on things that lift you up, delight you, excite you, challenge you to grow, make you smile, spark you, honor you and have healthy returns. In my experience, this is a delicious recipe for creating good vibes and a life you love.

I am reading the intro to Arianna Huffington's book called THRIVE, and she describes at Steve Job's eulogy how his sister spoke of the memory of Steve slow dancing on the dance floor with his son at a family gathering. This made me think of the woman within each man, the part that's soft, tender, emotionally intelligent, tactile, empathetic, gentle and heart warmingly loving. These are often the parts that get knocked out of men as they are told to toughen up and man up, yet it is a part in all men that yearns to be expressed without ridicule or judgement. The image of two men dancing closely together as father and son, or brothers, as an expression of all barriers lowered, absolute openness and an honouring embrace of each other, how powerful is that? It surpasses sexuality and allows a soulful expression between two people.

I love getting into a soup of celebration and humanity. The energy is up, everyone rubs shoulders together, rich, poor, smart, simple, black, white everyone together and no one cares who you are, what you do or where you come from, as long as you are dancing, moving and smiling you will find an embrace. This kind of melting pot is a home for me to view people.

Yesterday my eyes fell on this woman with a small family all really young, the baby must have been months old, there was a 3-year-old little boy and a 10-year-old little girl, the grandmother was also with them. I became interested in her because it takes a level of bravery to bring a young family like that to Carnival. As I watched the 3-year-old boy became agitated and then started peeing all over himself, it was pouring down his legs, into his shoes and wetting his little shorts, he was grabbing at himself trying to stem the flow, but once started there was no stopping. Then came the tears of absolute mortification, shame and humiliation, my heart went out to him. I watched to see how his mother would deal with it. She drew him away from the puddle, sat on the pavement and begun by distracting him with music and dancing, she dried his tears, dried his legs, all the while talking lightly to him until there was a glimmer of a smile, she took some wipes out and cleaned him up, took a small pair of shorts out of her bag, and changed him right there on the pavement. Handed him a piece of fruit from a container took his rubber shoes off, washed them with water from a bottle dried them and put them back onto him. It was like nothing had happened 15 minutes later. In that moment I'd witnessed love, I'd witnessed a trauma averted, I'd witnessed the future man encased in the 3-year-old boy knowing what it is to be cared for unconditionally, I witnessed shame and humiliation released and forgotten, I witnessed a woman build a foundation of esteem and worth for her son. I sent her and her family gratitude for what I'd witnessed and she left me the vibration and frequency of a mothers love.

INSPIRED NOTE: I am going to start this off by saying that I am very astute when it comes to the way energy flows or doesn't flow in our lives. So I am really aware of what our energy does when we make certain statements or accept something that 'seems true' as absolute truth without really checking into ourselves first. There's a cultural speak around 'white privilege' and I was watching a program where this well meaning woman was saying she is going to use her white privilege to make a difference in the world and make it a better place. So I immediately imagined her standing opposite me, speaking to me directly and saying 'I'm going to use my white privilege to help you!' and I noticed what my energy was doing. I immediately felt disempowered and unable to connect to my feet and my ability to stand my ground (base chakra), I felt disempowered as a person and as a human because for her to be privileged in this little scenario I must be unprivileged (solar chakra), I felt sad that my story somehow made me less loved or loveable (heart chakra) and these were just the immediate responses.

So the question is does accepting this assumption expand me or contact me? I felt contracted. I am not into reverse racism in any way, I love people, I love humans, I'm interested in equality, in embracing our diffrerences, in honoring each other's souls. It is true that the past has not been kind to some races, but do we grow by keeping this memory locked into our present, always dragging it around with us so that it becomes a force for creating everything that occurs moving forward? Or do we use it to build character, to build strength, to heal and to grow? If the second option is more attractive then the narrative needs to be different. There is only HUMAN PRIVILEGE!

The Power Of Looking Yourself In The Eye

[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

INSPIRED NOTE.... Sometimes the person you crave to see you the most is YOU!

A couple of weekends ago I went to a friends event and there was an exercise that involved looking with full presence and awareness at a person sitting opposite me and voicing with love and acceptance the beauty I saw in them. I've done this exercise in various ways in the past, but a bit like reading a book the second or third or tenth time around, I got something totally different from it.

What if I were to do this exercise with myself? What if I were to stand in front of a mirror and instead of looking at myself, assessing myself and my aesthetics, what if I were to look for myself? Look for my divinity. Look for my consciousness. Look for that stunning intelligence that lies deeply behind my retina. Look for myself with acceptance, love, and gratitude for all that I'd been through. What if I were to look for the uncomfortable parts and sit with them until they melted? What if I were to look for strengths and thank them for being there.

Potent, potent stuff my love. Try it yourself and let me know what unfolds for you!
